Legit Apps That Can Earn Money

Posted on  by

Lucktastic is an interesting app that pays out in the form of sweepstakes or gift cards once you earn a certain number of points. You can play virtual “scratch-off” games to add to your pot. The popular app has prizes ranging from $25-10,000, with over a million winners already. Where does the money come from? This means that you can make money in all the same ways, including by playing PayPal games for real money. It does tend to have more of a focus on getting paid to do surveys (in fact, it’s one of the apps where you can do surveys that may be mail in cash – that is, they’ll actually send you checks!).

These next opportunties are more involved than just downloading an app, completing a task, and making money. They take more work to set up and start earning money. But the nice thing is that once you’re set up and functioning, some of the work can still be done from a smartphone or tablet while you’re on the go.

7. Become a Graphic Designer

If you enjoy creating beautiful designs and graphics, consider offering your graphic design services to clients using an app like Canva. There is a desktop and mobile app that can be used for all types of projects.

A graphic designer can earn money creating marketing material, logos, illustrations for books and websites, t-shirts, mugs, gifts, printables, and much more.

Join Printcious’ Designer Program and start selling your designs online. The program lets you set your own selling prices and determine your profit margins. When a customer purchases your design, Printcious facilitates the transaction, printing, and shipping. You simply sit back and earn royalties on your designs.

To get started, sign up for a free Printcious account, name your store, upload your designs and add them to the products of your choice, and start earning money each time an item sells.

Canva is a great tool for Filipino designers because it offers clipart, images, fonts, and templates to use. You can use it to create the designs to upload to your Printcious store. The Canva app includes a free version for personal use or a 30-day free trial for commercial use (required when selling graphics to clients or customers on Printcious).

If you prefer to create your designs by hand, check out XP-PEN’s amazing graphic tablets. You can start with a low-cost tablet and upgrade as your art journey takes off.

8. Become an Influencer

Influencers are those who build a following online and use their popularity to recommend new products to their fans. For example, a beauty influencer is one who specializes in products like clothes, makeup, and skincare. A gaming influencer, on the other hand, promotes gaming systems, PCs, headsets, and other supplies.

Instagram and Facebook are popular places for influencers to share their favorite trendy products and services. You only need a small following to get approved and start promoting your favorites for a commission on each sale.

Shopee, Amazon, Sephora, Lazada, and Zalora are some of the most popular programs for influencers to join. The best way to make money recommending products is to test them for yourself. You can start for free by sharing the items you already own and promoting the stores that sell them. As your following and income grows, you can purchase new items to review and share with your fans.

9. Start a Blog

A blog can be used for all kinds of purposes–from sharing reviews on exotic travel destinations to teaching readers how to start a garden. There is no limit on topics that bloggers can cover to potentially earn money.

Blogging is a worldwide business model that has grown in popularity over the last 10 years. Why? because real people are earning a lot of money by doing it.

Bluehost is a popular and affordable web host for new bloggers. If you use Bluehost to host a blog on WordPress, a popular and free website platform, you can download the free app to manage your content right from your smartphone or tablet.

10. Become an Affiliate Marketer

Affiliate marketing is a real way to earn money in the Philippines. It’s a simple process that requires a platform like a niche website or YouTube channel for sharing products for a commission.

To make money as an affiliate marketer, you would need to sign up with a network like Involve Asia where you can join popular programs in the Philippines like:

  • Vendors on Shopee
  • Hotels.com
  • Lazada
  • And many more…

To earn money, you would log into your affiliate account, grab a unique tracking link, and share specific products and services from the programs you’ve joined. Each time someone purchases through your unique link, you earn a commission.

Since there are endless products and services you can recommend, it’s best to become a leader in a single niche and help your followers solve problems and fulfill needs in a focused area. As your followers respond to your offers, you can drill down on the most popular items and grow your income.

11. Sell on Amazon

As the largest e-commerce platform in the world, Amazon offers a great opportunity for Filipinos to sell things to make money. The Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program makes selling online completely hands-off. Instead of packaging each product you sell, you can send the whole lot to FBA where they take care of the entire process.

While selling with FBA can be lucrative, it comes with a small learning curve that every new seller needs to tackle. If selling online is something you’ve dreamed of doing but don’t know where to start, check out this free resource to learn how to sell on FBA.

Vik JC is a successful FBA seller who shares his secrets on how to find a product that actually sells for a profit. He shares his 5-step strategy in this FREE ebook. Read it to learn if this is the right side hustle for you.

12. Start a Dropshipping Website

Dropshipping products online is a popular way to earn money from the Philippines because it doesn’t require you to order and ship items from home (which can get pricey if your target audience is global). Instead, you can sell items online and use a service that ships the items directly to customers, which saves on time and shipping costs.

Starting a dropshipping website on Shopify isn’t difficult, but actually marketing your product so that it sells can be tricky. The best way to sell online is to pick a niche and become the go-to source or brand for relevant products. You can drop-ship items like sunglasses, shoes, clothes, toys, or electronics. But remember that the more specific the items, the more potential to reach the right buyers.

13. Start an Etsy Shop

Etsy is well-known as a hand-made item marketplace but has since grown to include things like digital printables. Digital items like printables can be created once, listed on your Etsy store, and sold on autopilot again and again.

With digital products, you don’t have to worry about the cost of packaging and shipping items worldwide. Instead, buyers will receive their purchased item immediately to download and print. Some product ideas that sell include checklists, budgeting spreadsheets, digital artwork, printable games, and many more.

Legit Apps That Can Earn Money

One thing to consider is that Etsy is a large marketplace, so the competition for many items can be high. I’ve used Sale Samurai to research keywords that buyers are typing into Etsy’s search bar to find products to buy. This helps me find product ideas and rank my listing on Etsy after I create and publish it on the marketplace.

Try Sale Samurai for free to see if it’s the right tool for you. If you decide to pursue an income using Etsy, use my promo code wfhfilipino20 to save 20% on a paid Sale Samurai account.

Etsy offers a legit money-earning app for sellers in the Philippines on both Android and iOS mobile devices. You can manage your listings and payments using the app.

Filipino Etsy sellers can sign up for Etsy payments to extend all kinds of payment options to buyers worldwide. When it comes time to have the earning paid out, they can request payment via PayPal.

14. Become a Virtual Assistant (VA)

A virtual assistant is someone who completes all kinds of online services and tasks for clients around the world in exchange for payment. Instead of becoming an employee, a VA typically sets his or her own flexible schedule and decides when and where to work.

A VA’s services can include content writing, social media management, email responding, appointment setting, bookkeeping, and so much more.

The best part about working as a virtual assistant is that you can set your own rates based on your skills and income needs. The more client testimonials you collect over time, the more you can charge for your services based on your previous merit or work quality.

15. List Your Services on Fiverr

Fiverr offers a different opportunity to make money in the Philippines. It’s a platform for creatives to list and sell online services worldwide. As a Fiverr seller, you can offer services like graphic design, content creation, video editing, voiceover services, and anything else you can think of.

Starting on Fiverr sounds simple, but it starts with getting noticed by your target audience. A great way to get your services out there would be to hire another Fiverr seller to set up an optimized account for you, create a logo, or market your services on social media. There are tons of options to get set up and start earning quickly.

For example, visit Fiverr and type “set up a Fiverr account” in the search bar. Some highly-rated sellers offer this service for just 5 USD.

Fiverr offers a legit paying app for Filipinos using either Android or iOS devices. You can use the app to communicate with your buyer and send them notice of your completed projects.

GCash Alternatives

GCash is not yet accepted by most legit paying apps in the Philippines (that I am aware of). But that doesn’t mean you can’t earn money by playing games, taking surveys, and completing offers on your smartphone with these GCash alternatives.

Payoneer

Payoneer is another GCash alternative that works with legit paying apps in the Philippines. It supports the Piso, US dollar, and Euro, among many other currencies. Payoneer also has transaction fees to consider.
